Hi. I’m Gary Korisko.2015_bust-me

Over the last two decades, in addition to copywriting, I’ve worked as a national-level sales director and a business consultant – helping business owners and entrepreneurs create successful sales and marketing strategies both online and offline.

I’ve built a thriving online community through my blog, Reboot Authentic, and have also created content for many top online businesses like…

      • Jon Morrow’s Boost Blog Traffic
      • Jeff Goins’ Goins Writer
      • Jeff Bullas’ JeffBullas.com
      • Danny Iny’s Mirasee
      • Corbett Barr’s Fizzle
      • Mary Jaksch’s A-List Blogging, Write to Done, and Goodlife Zen
      • Josh Turner’s LinkedSelling and Linked University
      • and many others

I’ve worked with clients from seven different countries on four continents.

The point is, I know how to get attention online and I have spent many years learning exactly what makes people choose to either buy from you – or blow you off.

One of the main advantages of working with me is the rare mix of skills I bring to the table:  The ability to create effective copy and a 20 year track record of online and offline sales and marketing success.

That adds up to results for you.

You might be thinking, “Yeah, ok Gary… but ALL copywriters say they know how to sell.” And you’re right. They do say that. And I’m sure they believe it.

But virtually none of them have made a living selling professionally… let alone for over 20 years and on a national level.

Outstanding Writing Skills

Writing well is more than just understanding the rules of grammar and punctuation. It’s also knowing when to ignore those rules in order to make a connection with your audience. It’s not easy to write copy that sounds natural and conversational. It’s actually really difficult and requires painstakingly focused effort.

As Nathaniel Hawthorne said, “Easy reading is damn hard writing.” And that damn hard writing  is crucial to your sales efforts. I’ve been writing my entire life – and I assure you I’ll pour my heart and soul into creating copy that will convert for you.

25 Years of High-Level Sales and Marketing Experience

Think about it. If you’re considering paying someone to write sales copy for you, wouldn’t you sleep a little better at night knowing that person actually made a successful living selling out in the real world? I’ve successfully sold and trained professionals from coast to coast offline and across the globe online. I know how consumers think and I understand how to guide them through the sales process.

A lot of people who have dabbled in sales say, “Oh… I’ve sold before. I know how.” That’s kind of like doing karaoke in a bar and then saying you know what it’s like to tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It’s not the same thing. When you hire me, you hire a real sales pro who can also write.

A Deep Understanding of Content Marketing, Audience Building, and Online Business

Likewise, when you’re shelling out your hard-earned cash for web copy, it makes you feel nice and secure if the person you’ve hired has actually been successful online. My blog, Reboot Authentic, is a thriving online community. Having been there – done that online, I understand how online consumers relate to copy, what they like, what they hate, and why they buy.

Why Most Web Copy is Ineffective

Most web copy falls into one of two categories.

Category One:
“I think your customers are simple-minded, so I’m going to try and trick them by jamming your copy full of catch-phrases, clichés, and false promises. Here’s your 10,000 word sales page that includes the phrase, ‘but wait… there’s more’!” – and includes copious amount of yellow-highlighted text at absolutely no extra charge. (If you buy now, of course)

Category Two:
“I have an Ivy League degree in linguistics and I can prove it by producing grammatically correct English while using long, impressive words. Aren’t I just the necrotype of copywriting with perhaps just a modicum of autolatry thrown in? ”

Um, what?

See? That’s the problem. Flip a coin.

Heads you get hokey old P.T. Barnum, – tails and it’s stuffed-shirt Professor Whifflesnap writing your copy. Talk about a lose-lose proposition, right?

That’s kind of a light and funny analogy – but the message here isn’t light at all. It’s serious business that greatly impacts your bottom line.

Consumers hate, hate, HATE to be sold – but they love to buy. They want to be talked with – not talked at or talked down to.

They see overly salesy copy as insincere and insulting. They find dry, academic copy pretentious and boring. So what’s the answer? What kind of copy resonates with today’s consumers?

Conversational copy written by someone who understands not only writing, but the ART of persuasion.

We Should Talk

Whatever your project is – if you want great web copy that converts, I can help.

Take a few minutes and contact me. Let’s have a conversation. If after that conversation, you feel I can help you achieve your goals – great. If not, well then that’s fine too.

I look forward to speaking with you – and the opportunity to work with you!
